At the end of Summer 2019, RGP held the second Mr Cycle (bicycle maintenance) event as part of the RGP’s ongoing Travel Plan Coordinator role, on behalf of Orbit Homes and Bellway, at the Blakenham Fields / Beaumont Green development in Mid Suffolk. Eighteen bicycles were serviced during the evening’s event which was well received by residents and Mr Cycle is looking forward to making a return visit next year.
As part of the ongoing travel plan monitoring work multimodal surveys were also completed the following morning which confirmed that residents are continuing to follow the positive trends previously observed of walking, cycling and car sharing. RGP is proud to see its Travel Plan fully implemented and well on its way to achieving its active travel goals.
